The Prevention Education & Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in expanding our organization's impact through coordinated mentoring, prevention education, and community engagement initiatives. This position will build upon our established mentoring program while developing new prevention education opportunities that position Virginia's House | Dr. Goodall’s House as a leader in child abuse prevention. Working between our main office, Virginia’s House in Graham, and our Breckenridge satellite office, Dr. Goodall’s House, the Coordinator will strengthen relationships with school partners, grow our volunteer mentor network, and help create meaningful prevention programming that reaches children before they need our crisis services. This role offers significant opportunity for professional growth as our prevention education efforts expand to meet new state requirements and community needs.
