Maintenance Worker
GENERAL SUMMARY (What is done and why)
Ciera Bank has been serving Texas Communities since 1890, and we now have 8 locations. We are seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Worker at our Graham location. The Maintenance worker position is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures in building. Performs a variety of skilled/unskilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing the building.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Majority of duties, but not meant to be all inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary)
Functional:
- Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.
- Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the building.
- Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanic.
- Inspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance.
- Perform general grounds keeping daily; inspect outside of building areas, insure disposal areas are kept clean and in safe condition.
- Assisting in the construction of small-scale building projects, renovations, and repairing building components such as patching holes in walls, repair lighting and fixtures, basic plumbing, assemble furniture and service equipment.
- Deliver mail to various departments.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Typical working conditions associated with this type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position.)
Internal – Most work is performed in climate-controlled office environment. Noise level fluctuates from loud to moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (postage metering equipment, computers, telephones, etc.) May work in small areas such as crawl spaces and utility closets.
External – Frequently, work is performed where there is exposure to outside atmospheric conditions or heat/cold or moisture and exposure to traffic while performing mail pickup and delivery functions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (The physical effort generally associated with this position)
Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects. Work involves frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases. Work involves stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending at the waist, twisting/turning and reaching.
Possess the manual dexterity to handle and work with various materials and objects which are essential aspects of this position.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/CONTACTS (Positions, other than supervisor and immediate co-workers, with which incumbent has frequent contact and the reason for contact.)
Internal – Extensive contact with personnel throughout the Corporation to pick up or deliver mail and to resolve problems related to building maintenance.
External – Frequent contact with postal employees regarding the pick up or delivery of mail. Some contact with Bank customers.
Supervision of Others – N/A
ACCOUNTABILITY (Budget/asset amount managed, revenues/profits produced, and/or other financial resource incumbent is accountable for. Also, indicates judgement/decision making level.)
This position is directly responsible for maintaining building and facilities in a safe and effective manner.
