Bank Teller
Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team at our Graham Hwy 16 S location. As a frontline representative of our bank, you will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is essential in supporting our customer satisfaction goals and helping drive the growth of our financial services.

First State Bank has grown from a “start up” with two employees to our current $ 250 million asset size with approximately 50 employees and seven banking facilities. Responsibilities
 
• Perform routine banking transactions, including cashing checks, accepting deposits and loan payments, and processing withdrawals, in accordance with established policies and timeframes
• Assess customer needs and confidently recommend appropriate bank products and services
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable service
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Manage risk by verifying identification, identifying suspicious activity, and preventing fraudulent transactions
• Resolve customer inquiries or issues promptly and effectively
 
Qualifications & Skills
 
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic devices such as cash drawers, receipt printers, and money counters
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of customers
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• High level of attention to detail and solid mathematical skills
• Customer service-driven with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
