Innovation, Creativity and Technology: The Future of Your Business
Guest Speaker Lauren Decker
Lauren Echols Decker is a native of Breckenridge,Texas and now calls Stamford, Texas home. She grew up on her family’s 6th generation cattle operation and then took her passion for agriculture to Texas A&M. After graduation in 2005, she moved to Washington, DC to work for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and the USA Rice Federation. In the fall of 2014, she moved home to the ranch to take over the day to day management of her family’s Muleshoe Ranch.
Shortly after moving to Stamford in the spring of 2016, she went to work for Jodey Arrington as the agriculture liaison for his campaign and following his election to the House of Representatives, she took on the role of District Representative. Lauren represents 15 counties on the eastern side of TX-19 and spends her time talking to small business owners, local elected officials, and agriculture producers around the area. She and her husband James are active in St. John’s United Methodist Church and spend their free time with a group of Rural Young Professional families in the area working to enrich the life for young people living in the small towns they call home.
Lauren spends her time talking to small business owners and has become a true advocate for small business.
